Role Description The Automation / AI Workflow Intern (n8n) will support the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated workflows using n8n and related tools. In this full-time, remote role, you will help map business processes, translate them into automated flows, and integrate external APIs and data sources. Day-to-day tasks include building and updating automation workflows, monitoring runs, troubleshooting failures, and optimizing performance. You will assist in creating and executing test cases, documenting workflows, and contributing to quality assurance efforts to ensure reliable, scalable automations. The role also involves collaborating with team members to identify automation opportunities, experiment with AI-powered enhancements, and continuously improve internal operations. Build automation workflows and assist in AI system deployment to reduce manual work and improve operations. Responsibilities - Create workflows using n8n - Automate processes (lead capture, notifications, data flow) - Assist in AI chatbot setup (RAG / APIs) - Debug and improve workflow reliability - Document workflows Requirements - Basic understanding of APIs (REST) - Logical thinking (workflow design) - Willingness to learn automation tools Preferred - n8n / Zapier experience - JSON / Webhooks - AI API exposure Output Expectation - Automations must be usable by the team - Must reduce manual effort or time
